Finally started the restoration
« on: December 02, 2011, 06:49:57 PM »
And without further delay It took me the longest time just deciding what color to go with. I went to the Tampa auto show and it seems that there is a lot of brown in our auto future. Both interior and exterior which allowed me to stick with Mr. Lund's original colors. Everything comes back in style as they say. Almost all the interiors were either black or Chocolate brown and some were a combination of the two. Grey is finally out thank god! It was nice at first but enough is enough. There were even some reddish browns or burnt reds as I called them.

Believe it or not, that is the original top put on in 1979 when it was built and it has been under a cover for a year and was not even cleaned before I took the picture. That is a big reason why I would not change the color scheme. I can't believe it has held up so well and also speaks to the low original miles

I have to wonder if milliard enjoys tormenting me.
