I'm rather unfamiliar with the 4.0 exhaust system, I haven't swapped heads yet nor have I located one, but I need one. Ive done research, Tim Weavers 4.0 swap guide is very useful, but it never addresses the EGR, nor do I see it in any of his photos. Mines plugged with a gob of epoxy, but its still installed and hooked up for inspections, it just doesn't do anything. I plan to use either the dual cast iron manifold or the header that goes three into two, then two into one so I can split it and have mean sounding duals on an inline (sounds like a big-block on some)
I'm not sure how or where the EGR will hook up when I combine the stock 258 intake with the 4.0 exhaust. I'm sure it has an EGR, I just dont know its set up. What did you other guys with 4.0 heads do?
