Simple ones really, what did you guys use for a harmonic balancer? The stock eagle one, or the jeep 4.0 one? If you used the 4.0 one, and went carbureted, what did you do about the lack of timing mark, put the engine at TDC and make your own?
Thanks.

I was in betwenn dealing with my concord and my fresh brewed beer.  Haha. I used the 4.2 balancer to balance the crank. In otherr words you match a balancer to the crank.

Ok thanks MK! I guess I'll be making my own mark, lol. It's funny that chryco kept the timing tab on the cover, I was worried about that too, until there it was burried under a couple inches of mud, muck, and grease, haha.

So I was able to answer my own question here, turns out chryco did leave the timing mark in the balancer after all, (it was just caked with so much grime it wasn't visable).

That kinda made my night, lol.
