hey guys,
my eagle is an 82, with the 129 transfer case.  My original plan was to lock the front axle together then putting in transfer case lever from a jeep cherokee  in the eagle.  Now i'm second guessing cutting a hole in the floor for the lever.  Would it be a bad idea to leave the 129 case in 4wd all the time?

It will be just fine in 4WD all the time.  The NP 129 is the same as the full time NP 119 just that it as the ability to be selectable.  The man behind the Eagle was chagrined when he was asked to make his Eagle selectable.
