This beautiful Concord belongs to a member (Ohio AMX) on the AMC heritage forum...I was taken back by this awesome concord wagon. I have always wanted to put the AMX trim on my eagle...and judging by this concord it would look awesome.

I like it, but think it needs bigger wheels and tires to go with the wide flares.

I'd love to put those on the SX/4...All that wagon needs is a bumper tuck, maybe just the supports from an eagle would bring them back closer to the body nicely.  8)

Yup a few tweaks here and there...a set of rims and that thing would be a heart stopper.

Re: the auction site....he got the thing in pretty much that condition minus a few dents and dings...didnt pay a whole lot either....I wonder what that thing sold for!.....Tell ya what, that would be a sweet candidate for a v8 swap right there!

Something tells me that car and I would have been real happy together.

Sorry , it is a nice car , but personally , the kryton flares added to the allready flared fenders judt don't do it for me.........really nice job, no offense, just not my cup of tea.

Yes, I put it up for sale last fall but it didn't meet the reserve. I wanted to do some more work to it (like rebuilding the door hinges) but by that time it was too late in the year I guess. I seriously thought about keeping it and dropping in a 304 or 360, but I just closed a deal on an Eagle so it will be for sale again in the spring.

Agreed that it is one of the best looking cars I've seen.

There is a problem with the idea of installing Spirit AMX fender flares on an Eagle - The Eagle has bigger wheel openings in the fenders, so the flares wont fit(haven't tried it, don't have any AMX flares, but they shouldnt fit). Then there's getting the Eagle rocker panel cover to extend to the AMX's short-end at the back of the flares( on the SX/4, I'd cut down a wagon's rocker covers to make up for the needed length).

If I have time in this life, I'd like to mold my own AMX-ish Eagle flares(making them much bigger and wider for bigger tires) and a front and rear airdam set similar to the AMX stuff, just not quite so low.

I saw an older AMX , with the newer flares used as a pattern and foberglass ones made and blended in, that looked good, along with a new paint scheme that incorporated them into it.
I am not takeing away from this one shown here in the post , he has alot of time and effort into it,and I certainly haven't done anything as close to cool to any of mine.
