Eagle Road (Rhode) Trip- Sept 2-16 from So. Cal. to RI & then to Intl. Meet

I did some things today to get the car ready for the trip.   Since I am planning to sleep in the car (saving a few buck$), I made a deck for sleeping on.

I cut the plywood so I still have access to the spare tire compartment:

I've considered removing the back seat for the trip to the meet to gain some storage.  If I had thought of it while I had the wheel well trim out I may have considered removing the upright back seat, too.

I am going to buy a memory foam (Tempurpedic) topper.

Because I need to hurry east, I am just going to stop and sleep when I get tired.  It would take too much time to plan each night.  As it is, I will need to visit most of the 'Nest members on the return trip.

If you come through Denver I'd love to meet you.  Then we can swing down to the Rambler Ranch and see the TD Eagle!  Its about 25 miles from my house.  Maybe get Tougeagle, Shanebo and Maddog to join us!
