The most recent addition to the nest.
« on: July 12, 2011, 01:22:46 PM »
Now that the TD Eagle has flown from the nest, my SX4 needed some company (you can't just have ONE Eagle!).
I just got this 1983 Eagle wagon.  It has 137,XXX miles on it, and all original.  It is the base model with crank windows, and manual locks. The interior is NEAR PERFECT with only a little cracking of the vinyl on the driver seat.   The A/C is ICE COLD R134A converted and works great.   The body has a few rust issues (Utah car), but nothing unsafe.   The rockers have a little rust (barely visible from just above the plastic), and a spot on the lower part of the rear driver side door.  There is a few spots of surface rust as well.  Overall the car looks great.

I even found the build sheet when I took the door panel off to fix the door handle (rod fell off)

Looks like my Eagle, except nicer.  Good luck with it.  Did I miss something?  What happened to the TD Eagle?

Yeah I did a search and found that post after I asked what I missed.  Definitely another reason for me to visit the Rambler Ranch.
