my dad and i are planning on cleaning the carpet and fixing the dash because none of the instruments are working. then the only thing i need is new tranny lines, if any one has any to spare, i would be intrested in buying them.

the carpets can be bought for our sx4's in the entire kit or pieces from i think its acc. i have the link somewhere. (im on the new laptop and dont have it here, its on the old one) i bought one from them for my first sx4. it fits well, but there are issues i can talk you thru if you go buy one. im going to get another one from them some day soon for my 2nd sx4. that one will be easier as i know what to do, and how lay it out better. good luck.

I bought the SX/4 specific carpet from Stock interiors.com (I'm pretty sure there's only one supplier and the 2 or 3 companies selling it all use the same supplier).  The fit is terrible  The footwells are vaguely formed, the trans hump is too high in places and too low in others making it impossible to push into place without severe wrinkling, the edges were folded over when the carpet was still hot making an impossible to remove crease and the mass backing I got is missing in spots of the carpet leaving just the weave of the carpet to hold it together.  I'm now considering going back to the wagon carpet I originally bought for my SX/4 with the cut in the middle to make it fit better.  The fit on the wagon carpet was actually near perfect in the front and pretty good in the rear.  The question now is do I want better fitting carpet with a cut in the middle or one -piece carpet that's badly wrinkled and ill fitting.

The strange thing is that the carpet piece for the hatch area fit pretty well - go figure.
