Well, there are a couple more photos up, including one decent quality one of the engine. Here's the link again:

Still waiting for others. He seems to be having technology problems, which was why he didn't get my response to his ad right away, way back from the start.

Looks kind of like it has different rims in the front and back. Hmmm... ???

Correct me if I'm wrong, but does it seem to be missing the air filter/enclosure on the engine???

Ah, it is. He said he took it off to start the engine easier. Is that bad, or does it not matter?

Well he just told me it starts better with it off. I don't think it's anything to worry about.

It looks like the front rim is stock with no wheel cover/hub cap,the back rim  looks like a jeep replacement

Does that look like a 4.0L valve cover to anyone else? Maybe a little work has been done under the hood?

Very well could be a jeep replacement wheel. Also, there has been work done to it, he said he replaced it with a crate engine from a wrangler, so you're probably right.

well maybe its just plugged up with dirt/oil like my first sx4 was. so much blow by the pcv valve filled the air cleaner with oil, and the dirt combined. just saying.

Was this an engine problem, or just how these cars are? Don't know if you'll see this casper, but how did you solve the problem on your sx4?

UPDATE: He has finally given me something more to look off of :o

He posted more videos on the y-tube under the username "voghe24", showing the undercarriage, engine, body, and interior.

It really does look worse underneath than I expected, and he wants $1000 for the car. It appears to have all endcaps, as well as a decent looking interior. Do you think this is reasonable for the amount of rust underneath? If not, what would be a good price? I'm thinking I might have to ask him to lower it or walk. I really do want this car though, it looks great otherwise and it's my favorite type of Eagle...

Think anyone would be interested if I would buy it and end up not being able to handle repairs? Just in case.

Oh yeah, the videos are still pretty shaky, but they show a whole lot more. I think he's just really bad with a camera.

MY opinion, from what I could see of the rust under it, I'd pass. Again, that's just MY opinion. Some  of the other folks here may not think it's that bad. I saw where the air cleaner was missing, maybe he pulled the breather or PCV valve with it? What about why is it on a jack/stands? Does he have the missing R/F end cap? Those are rare. I personally feel $1,000.00 is too much for what I saw. I don't like rust period. That's why Old Rusty (my truck) has a different color tailgate, the other one was rusted out. It's just a (please pardon this foul 4 letter word) work truck. I don't care about bumps & scrapes. Paint is already shot, so it doesn't matter to me. Rust is different. One of these years when I get rich, I'd like to get those rear fenderwells patched. Not looking for it to be perfect, just want to get the rust cut out & metal welded in, throw some primer over it to keep it from coming back. Anyway, it's your money & decision. My personal opinion is no go on that one.

Looks like he's recording the video with a phone.   And he's recording in the dark again.

The underside looks like it could have a lot of rot.

Unless you're really good with MIG, and doing body work (or you got a best buddy who is) you might eiher:

Skip this one,

Or beat him down, and buy it for a parts car.
