not sure on the name of the part but on the front 4x4 axles right after the rubber boot its a cylinder about6 to 8 inches long and 3 or 4 in diameter, my ? is should it wiggle from driver side to passenger side 1/4 to 5/8 of a inch? and would that b responsible for the wobble i have @ 50 and it gets worse when i turn to the right?   any advice would be great
rims are balanced and tires are inflated properly

I think you are talking about the cv joint and shaft.  Are the boots torn?

yes the boots are torn but i found out one of my wheel wieghts fell off but i dont think there should vbe that much play in the cv shaft
