Its not hooked up to either of my 3. I got a good guess.

Maybe cruise control.  There is a green wire to the servo.

Interesting problem is my(tink715's) came with cruise.

An underhood light? Could be for any model of Hornet, Gremlin, Concord, etc. AMC probably didn't have too many different harnesses.

i do know that that is a 258 specific plug as the 2 "duke" cars that are here have a different harness
