Im guessing its the rubber moulding. If you have a luggage rack the well screw can leak allowing water to enter into the back....could be window trim too though....Pics would be super if possible

Most likely the hatch seal but if you think it's the window seal get in the car, close the hatch and get someone outside to soak it with a hose.   If the hatch glass was ever replaced it could have been a poor install where not enough sealer was used or the gasket wasn't set properly.

I'd do the hose test to isolate the problem.

if it is the hatch and not the glass here is a suggestion I am not sure BUT If you are willing I have heard of people building silicone Gaskets for a replacement. If you have wood working know how and or the ability to build molds you "COULD" build a gasket that way and would give you some ability to replace it in the future. I would think you would need to figure out the depth and width and use a router to cut the groove into the wood, then i would make a mold for the groove for the mounting (around the hatch area) then put a release agent on the wood where you are going to pour THEN pour the silicone about halfway (Here is where I would add some spring clips to help hold it onto the mounting point) then finish pouring then add your mold for the mounting side. let dry remove the mounting side mold trim and clean then replace on your vehicle. but that is just my 2 cents worth of info.

well it appears that on first look anyway to be a window seal,,i dont see any run marks from the top anywhere,,but on the bottom of the glass seal i can see tracking,,

but a co-worker was telling me about a place that re-sealed his rear glass for around $50,,and offered a guarntee,,as my winshield is way bad scratched maybe i'll just get new front glass and have mine sealed,,

Well, That actually is a good thing as Glass work is eazier than finding a hatch seal. this is why I want to learn fabrication as much as possible, Building replacement components would save SOOO much money and Headache. Body parts would be the major issue though... But would love to learn to do it.
