Saw 2 Eagles today and met another 'Nest member
« on: March 06, 2011, 12:11:01 AM »
I took a little drive after lunch today.  I went south of my place to HeyDave's to pick these up...

The first Eagle I saw way HeyDave's daughter's Kammback.  It looks pretty good.  It is the only Kammback I have seen so far.  I like it.  I have seen a few Gremlins in the past, but never a Kammback.  We talked Eagles for awhile and I checked out the Kammback.  I would definitely drive one.  Maybe I can get one for Nikki someday.

I snapped a bunch of pictures of the interior of the Kammback for thereverendbill to use as a reference when setting up the interior of his newly acquired Kammback.  I hope they help Bill.  I was at the mercy of my crappy cell phone camera, so the pictures are not the greatest.

I really like this bumper end cap that HeyDave made for his daughter's Eagle.  He made it from the end cap of an XJ Cherokee.  I wonder if end caps for XJ Cherokees are still available new somewhere?  Around here you will not see too many XJ Cheokees in the junk yards unless they are too crunched to save.

I could not get a picture of the other Eagle I saw.  It was behind an electrical shop on the main highway in/out of town.  I could see it from the road, but it was behind a fence and I could not get a good shot of it.

I saw this muddy Grand Wagoneer though.  It looked pretty solid, but was hard to tell.  Unfortunately this was the only shot that came out.

I had to stop and snap a couple pictures of this playground thing that looks kind of like a Jeep.  Saw it on the way into town.  Dave says it is for sale.  If I could find a way to get it home Morgan would love it.  It has a steering wheel, seats and console and everything.

That wooden truck is simply awesome.  If I built something like that for my daughters, I'd probably play on it more than they did.

That's what I thought.  I was tempted to see how much the guy was asking for it.  All the sign had was a phone number.  Looked to me like it could be thought of as a Jeep.
