sleepsundercars and Eagle Max to the rescue
« on: March 01, 2011, 05:55:19 PM »
On the first run out with my eagle since the upgrades we decided to take a cross PA venture and about 3 hours from home (on out way back) the rear drive shaft came off the transfercase.  Long story short we took the front dirveshaft off and robbed parts to get the rear shaft back in order and locked the car in 4 wheel drive in hopes to make it home.  About 30 miles latter the transfer case went south  making the car useless.

Sleepsundercars stepped up and offered to haul the car home for me on his rig and Eagle Max stepped into giving him a hand loading the car and checked up on it.  i am in debt to these great guys for helping me out of a HUGE bind.

Good to here you got a ride home. You should have left it in 2wd with the front shaft out. You probably destroyed the VC.
