I know, I was just thinking this morning , why can't I just rip it all out , go old old school,distributor vaccumm advance and vaccumm for the brake booster.12V to the coil , presto. I had an old 68 Firebird that had wireing issues, I just put in 3 toggle switches. One for the starter, one for the distributor power,and one big one for power to the headlights.lol. hey it worked : )
Oil those cylinders up while it sets , and the journals and crank surfaces, they rust up quick.
