I agree, it is very cool to see how enthusiastic the members are here. You can tell that they truly care about each other. And I don't even have an Eagle... Yet!

Hello Apes 17 & Dave,

I just had to bring this post back to the top .... for a possible update .... also wondered if you had found a wire harness yet, let me know if you still need one ???  I've been slowly removing a harness from an 87 wagon as I get ready to pull the engine. I don't get much time for projects at home, probably take a couple more nice weekends.

                                                                             Regards, Iron Horse ;D

yes as a matter of fact i do need the wiring harness still, have not been able to find one yet, i have been collecting quite a few parts and am waiting for the nice weekends to get started, i have all i need for the headlight assemblies except for the adjusters and i have a hood, I've bought new belts and hoses and have gotten alot of small stuff for under the hood, i will still need a master cylinder but don't know about the booster, will need new power steering hoses, ac hoses, valve cover. and probably need a new ac compressor, not too worried about that right now. i have a carb, and air filter.

Hello Dave & Apes 17,

I finally got the wire harness pulled ... I'll label the connectors so you have an idea where they all go. I took my time takin' it out so it's in pretty good shape ...  except I noticed to previous owner had modified the ignition module  connectors so he could use a carb without the servo ( weber ) so you may have to return it to original.... but I've seen that posted so should not be a problem to change back. Give me a couple days .... I'll send it to the address listed on your email ... unless I hear otherwise.

                                                                                  Regards, Iron Horse ;D

I just found this thread, and could have given you a hood if I had seen it sooner.   I have a good hood the same color.   If the one you have does not work out, you can have mine for free.   However, it is in So. Cal, so it may be cost prohibitive.  I have a few other parts as well.  Let me know what you still need, and maybe I have it (I would have to dig deep in my shed).

I still have an old dirty plastic valve cover out hear on the coast with a gasket kit for it.
I took off my carter BBD carb and put on a motorcraft 2150 so I have all the emissions stuff two. Actually I have two carter bbd set ups one is almost new.
