Two words: Knight Rider
I watched this show religiously as a kid, and thought it was totally awesome back then. Well, 25 years later I still think it's totally awesome but for entirely different reasons. I never realized just how jam-packed it is with AMC sightings.
Last Christmas my wife finally gave in and got me the entire box set (thanks, honey). The only stipulation was that I had to watch it while she wasn't around, so she didn't have to "suffer through it" as she put it. I finally got an opportunity to watch awhile ago, threw in the first disc, and just five minutes into the first episode is a light blue Eagle sedan in the background of a parking lot scene.
The sightings just keep rolling from there. Unfortunately an early Gremlin gets wrecked during one episode about a stunt show, but mostly the AMCs are just background dressing. In another episode, a parkade scene features at least four Hornets and Concords. In that same episode, our hero David Hasselhoff valiantly scoops a damsel in distress from the path of a speeding car and they tumble onto the hood of a Concord.
There's one red '73 Gremlin that shows up in about five different episodes.
I'm on Season 2, Episode 3 now, and still racking up the AMC visuals. Ah, guilty pleasures...
