In my travels, I see a lot of small cars and SUV's pulling small Uhaul trailers.

Hate to bump up the zombie thread, but I'm looking at options for mine. I see the Concord hitch is still available on Uhaul, not sure if anyone has given it a try, but I may just order one and report how it works! Any one else found any options in the last few years since this was updated last?

There was also the hitch that mounted directly to the Eagle bumper.  Probably doesn't have much towing capacity but I have one of those laying around here somewhere.

Is the wrangler bumper hitch a fit for a sx4?

AMC1

As long as you know what you want in a bumper hitch. I wouldn't want to pull a car with it.  The SX4 has a short frame. if you want to pull with it, the hitch (class 2), your hitch will have to reach it. I had one made years ago & two hitches had to be destroyed to make one. that's why it costs a lot - $800 years ago. I'm sure there are some professionals around who will do it. I'm near Chicago & found someone 20 miles away.

here is a link to the measurements I took from the hitch I have, it was made for a wagon but if you have the skills to make one out of cardboard you can test fit it on your SX/4 and modify it till it fits properly, afterwords you can take it too a shop and have them use it to build you a real one or if you are really good at welding you could make one yourself. http://forums.amceaglesden.com/index.php?topic=43166.0
