it arrived safe and sound at around 2 AM.  lighting is nonexistant around here at that hour so I had to wait to shoot a couple of pictures.

there it sits waiting for a nice weekend or a couple of nice evenings in a row so that i can drop the tank and start making the new trunk panels.  My first thought was to park it away from my driver row but i just couldn't resist a muliple eagle shot ;D

I can now drive it around!!!!

this is what I had to do as far as throttle linkage to get the kammback ready to drive under it's own power onto a trailer.  If you notice there is no return spring, we have no idea where it went but it was a pretty bad design we had.

let there be linkage!!! I need to thank Mavericke for getting me the iron duke linkage.

I know some people are going to think this isn't worth posting, but a car that you can drive around and idles compared to wide open throttle all the time is a good start for me ;D

I thought it would be a little tighter than it turned out to be but I can walk around the car and open the doors fully so that is a big bonus.

The one problem i have encountered is where to pile the interior parts in the garage with the car in there so here soon we are going to buy some wood and make a second level loft in the garage (I hate spending money on a rental)  and the lighting in the shop is very poor so we'll be installing 4 florescent lights on the ceiling and then a few on the walls so that i can be sure the bodywork on the car is perfect before paint

Tonight we got the car on jackstands and all of the wheels and tires off, removed the fuel tank to get refurbished, removed the rear glass, and sucked up alot of the loose stuff in the cargo area to get a better look at what needs to be cut out and replaced

These photos are taken from under the car cause that is where I am going to be working I'd say 90 percent of these repairs

It's a little worse than i thought it was, but that's restoration for ya ;D
