But my new fuel tank has its lower part welded backwards... so it is useless..

It also likes to collect alot of dirt and debris between it and the tank  :( . There is one on my wagon, but not the SX/4 .

Right, if anything the plastic cover seems to be a bad thing rather than serving any good function.

Eaglegirl's sx had one, I seemed to have forgotten  ::) to put it back on when I did the tank swap. If you happened to back into something (log, rock, ect) that little piece of plastic would aid in saving your gas tank from a puncture wound though  ;). Cherokees have them too, and I know they work for that  :rotfl: .

I was going to ask the same question.......don't they need to be steel ?? I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but then again you asked first IE : ) ....... Is that a "new" metering block also ?? I didn't think you could get those anymore....

Juhap is from Finland.  Perhaps they have different rules when it comes to brake lines.  Yes, I missed the metering block.  Is that new Juhap, and what application is it for?

Metering block is old one. I just cleaned and painted it...

And brake lines are made of 4.75 mm Cu-Ni brake line stuff sold by local speedshops.

Yes, it is Copper-nickel alloy. It is non-corrosive and very easy to bend.

I believe that is the stuff that Vovlo (?) uses as oem,  perfectly legal here in the states, my local supplier carries it, but it has quite a price tag. If you live in the snow/salt belt, well worth it if you plan on keep the car for an extended period of time.....
