Massachusetts - 1983 AMC Eagle SX/4 DL For Sale

1983 SX/4 with the 4.2L straight 6. Blue with blue interior. 

~92k miles, I got it with ~81k miles
Clean title (South Carolina)

I purchased it in 2016 in Portland Maine (was sitting in a field), got it running and drove it around Maine & Newhampshire while working to restore it. I moved to South Carolina and drove it from CT to SC where I had it titled. When we moved back north I had it shipped up.

Currently not running, and it hasn't ran since 2022 but could probably get it fired up with some minor love.

Asking $2,000 or best offer. I'd recommend bringing a trailer if you're not local. Looking to get it in the hands of someone who will continue to restore it.

Major work I did or had done:
- front and rear suspension
- brakes
- ripped out emissions controls
- distributor
- belts and hoses
- upgraded carb
- removed and cleaned fuel tank with a chain
- PS pump
- valve body replaced
- replaced transfer case (Under 100k mi)

Major work remaining:
- clean the interior, front seats, mouse/squirrel action, carpet kit
- some electrical for dash
- transmission xmember reweld
- box out a piece of frame rot in front right
- lower control arms (junk yard dive, but someone might have these for sale online?)
- paint and some body work
- Decent bit of rust, but it did get a ziebarr undercoating early in its life.

The select drive still works.

I have reciepts for all work done.

I bought the rear spoiler kit (spoiler and side pieces) off a great old timer in Maine and this will come in included.
