Hi I’m new to the den and I’m looking for a good write up for swapping a 4.0 head onto my 1983 4.2l sx4

You might want to try a google search on the internet, there are several good write ups out there.  I found some that were very helpful when I had the 4.0 head swapped onto my 258.

Here is a thread on mine.  For some reason the photobucket pictures are there but blurry.  I may be able to find the originals if you need them.

There used to be a very good how to by Tim Weaver on the internet, but it has disappeared. Search for Tim Weaver 4.0L head swap and see if you can find any archived copies.
