82 SX/4, passenger door couple days back the rod came loose again, no time to get into it, now the driver door handle broke so I have no way to get to the latch assembly to open a door,  plus one drawback with power lock on the hatch, no key.

Noticing that Eagle doors are set back behind trim so no way of prying it at all.  Then my bottom window weatherstrip just my luck  is in good shape and of course stiff.  So not sure how to go about getting it, anyone ideas?

Blessings

Since the handle is broken maybe you can drill it out enough to gain access to the mechanism to open the door?!

there is an access hole for the lock mechanism on pass side, note a black plug, you may be able to open with a long screwdriver or something. on drivers side its behind the car info plate. good luck, gz.
