Engine build
« on: September 24, 2017, 08:49:40 PM »
Finally got all the parts together to build a 200 HP engine .  258 bored .040 , better cam , ported 4.0 head . Taking it to machine shop for balancing and guide pins for head alignment . Gonna try and work a deal with the guy to trade labor for labor . He's got a forklift that needs work.

That sounds like it will be quite the engine.  I upgraded mine with the 4.0 head and better cam and it was a noticeable difference - not 200 HP though lol.  Can't imagine how my little Kammback would feel like with 200 HP under the hood.

The build sheet I'm going by says 250 HP but I'm doubting that . I'll be happy with 180.
