no longer a weak brake pedal and bad braking results.
i read a lot of threads and artikels many or all Eagles have a weak brake pedal.
my 81 Eagle wagon was not better.
the most people swap in a hydro boost from a Astro Van or something.
but this is to much work for the result.
today i installed a master cylinder with a bigger bore and i must say this brake rocks !
one our work for the best Eagle brakes
 

1-1/8" bore is a bit bigger than the original 3/4"

A bunch of different 60's and 70's GM vehicles. It will only work for 80-81 Eagles that have the brake lines on the left side of the MC. The 80-81 use a GM style booster and MC and the later ones use a Ford style.

ok, 80 + 81 direct fit, but also on the newer ones when you replace the brake lines.
the brake lines on the most Eagles are rotten and rusty, is no luxury when this stuff comes new

The 82+ use a different booster which has a different pushrod. The GM master won't work on the later boosters.

There are 2 styles. One with the master cyl lines towards the fender and the other with the lines towards the motor (mostly on 4 cyls) I used an XJ master cylinder on SOTE with no issues other than rear brake lockup up hard deceleration but that was because it had an XJ rear diff and the wheel cylinders are smaller with bigger brakes. I used the bigger Eagle wagon wheel cylinders in my Comanche to get more brakes before I found out the problem was the level sensing arm and valve weren't working.
