Hello from Roseville MN!
« on: September 16, 2015, 01:03:48 AM »
Hey All.

After about 15 years, I once again find myself the proud owner of an AMC Eagle.
My first purchased car was an 1982 AMC Eagle 2-door 5-speed hatchback.
On 9-13-15 I purchased a 1980 4-door Automatic Sedan, found it in Great Shape, with only 2 previous owners.
It's in pretty great shape, one small rust-hole in the rear passenger fender, needs a new headliner, carpet and driver's side tail light.
Paid $1000 and it has less than 16k miles (was sitting in a barn for 15 years).

I've got big dreams to muscle it out and will welcome all wisdom and advice.

hi and welcome to the den. Nice car! Really only 16k??? wow, that's about as close as you can get to a new Eagle. I also have a 4dr sedan, 1984 currently a work in progress. Relatively few sedans out there, good luck. gz

SWEET! I'm in Bloomington, MN!

WELCOME! THAT is a CLEAN Machine my friend!! Wow! Black too!

You are the 29th Eagle I know of in the metro area!

A fantastic shop that works on our Eagles is Repair Rite on 66th & 12th Ave in East Richfield about a 1/2 mile west of Target/Home Depot! They did my front hub bearings, rear pinion seal, brake hoses on the front. Grover C. goes there too.

You should join the AMC Northstar club of MN! We are NON-Political and the best chapter of a car club I've belonged to, locally speaking.

If you need something/advice/showing off my Eagle and your Eagle sometime, give me a shout/private message! Have a good one!!!  Jayson

Thanks for the warm welcome all!
Jayson, thanks for the suggestion on Repair Rite, excellent to know that there's a repair shop in the area servicing these fine machines.
You'll be receiving a PM soon about that Northstar car club. *Is geeked* And I'd love to meet up and show off/see some great cars (car in my case. ^_^)
