Coupe in Denver Driveway
« on: March 15, 2014, 10:29:22 PM »
I was riding with my friend to band practice last night, and we were taking a slightly different route.  All of sudden, I see this nice Eagle coupe sitting in a driveway.  It was white, looked in really good shape, except for the typical vinyl roof decay.  It was on Cherokee Street, approximately 4100 south, in Englewood.  I just went to Google Maps, and was able to find it, sitting in the driveway.  I'll be back over that way next week, I'll try to stop in and talk to the owner.

I think it must have been.  There is one in the boneyard at the Rambler Ranch with a luggage rack.

Sure seems that way!  Maybe the SX/4's will start coming out of the woodwork for all the folks looking for those also!!

Yeah, I've see the luggage rack on a few different Eagle sedans too. That one looks pretty nice. Someone has some aftermarket wheels on it and a sunroof!

If you look at the sedan I spotted yesterday, it has a luggage rack as well. It must have been an option...I'll have to check my book/brochures
My list of my cars/toys (or toys at my disposal!)

1985 AMC Eagle Sportwagon
2017 Mercedes-Benz C300 4Matic
1993 Mercedes-Benz 500SL
2016 Triumph Bonneville
 1962 Cruisers Inc Mahogany Outboard

I like to to tell people my Eagle is like a Ferrari. It's quirky, tempermental, border-line exotic, and something you don't see everyday.  See? Makes perfect sense....

There's another one in south Denver, in about the 2500 or 2600 blocks of Downing. My wife and I were returning from Sunday lunch and she saw it first. Unfortunately I didn't have camera or cell phone. :eagle:
1984 Eagle Wagon, 258, auto, 2.73 gears, daily driver
1983 Eagle Limited Wagon, parts; sold
2000 Jeep Cherokee, 4.0, auto
2007 Hyundai Accent, radical downsize from minivan, wife's car and she loves it!
