Took a cruise out at Stanton Creek. The primitive camping area you can drive to inside the park. (Glen Canyon National Recreation Area)

And debuting new plates! :) I was worried about this but some people have been calling in SOAR EX 4 rather than the SOAR BY 4 I was intending. Oh well.

I love that last shot, on top of the rise looking down on the hood.  That rack looks like rocket launchers!

I have not been around here much, but came back today to see how things were going. It is nice to see your SX4 on the road again! I have been crazy busy working on these Mercedes-Benz Diesels, and have been on those forums. I don't have an Eagle anymore, and I sure do miss having one. One day maybe I will get another one.....Rich

Right...surely you can fit a Mercedes Diesel in an Eagle! And yes, I'm very happy to have it on the road. It still needs some things, but for the time being I'm just ignoring them! :)

Well my plan was to take the frame from my old SX4 and stretch it 14" so it fits under a 300D body. I know it will have nothing Eagle on it, but the frame did spend it's entire former life under an Eagle. ;D

An overdue update on this car. I bought it from Prafeston on Dec 7, 2018 and have done a bunch to it since then.

Stuff I have done in no particular order: the 4.0 is now fuel injected using factory 91-95 parts, has a np229 from a '89 Grand Wagoneer, Dana 35 from a '01 Cherokee, 3.54 gears, a Honda clutch reservoir, Installed a XJ trailer hitch, full length XJ add-a-leaf, replaced the tachometer with an aftermarket one, added a high mount brake light under the rear glass, modified 3rd gen Dodge Challenger side view mirrors and mounted them (drivers side only right now).
'83 Eagle SX4. 92 4.0 fuel injected, T5, NP229, '01 Dana 35 with Detroit Truetrac 3.54 gears.

'87 Jeep Comanche. Renix 4.0 liter, AX15, NP242, HP Dana 30 and factory Dana 44 rear axle.

My first thought when I saw this comment was, "whoa, another MJ guy". Then I put two and two together
