Not Eagle, but Concord sighting!
« on: October 31, 2013, 04:01:25 PM »
I saw this car on CL, and it was close to my house at a business, so I stopped by after work to take a peek. I will post the ad in the appropriate thread. The car is MINT!! Beautiful! And...the last two pictures...I couldn't resist  :)

My list of my cars/toys (or toys at my disposal!)

1985 AMC Eagle Sportwagon
2017 Mercedes-Benz C300 4Matic
1993 Mercedes-Benz 500SL
2016 Triumph Bonneville
 1962 Cruisers Inc Mahogany Outboard

I like to to tell people my Eagle is like a Ferrari. It's quirky, tempermental, border-line exotic, and something you don't see everyday.  See? Makes perfect sense....

I agree. My favorite Concords are the '78's and '79's. I really like the coupes of those years where I hate the roof treatment on the '80-'83 coupes. It probably wouldn't prevent me from owning that body Eagle, because...you know...all Eagle's are awesome.  The two-tone paint really set this car off. I really like the body-color-matching hubcaps.

Thanks for pointing that out.  I had never noticed/seen that steering wheel before.

Don't know about the wheel but sure like the seats but then again I like the whole car. My dad had one just like it but my mother sold it after he died. She wanted me to have it but I already had a eighty concord that I had purchased new a month prior so I was making payments on that and could not afford another payment. So I had to pass. It to was a four door and at that time I thought four door cars where for old folks and my eighty was a two door which I thought was way cooler. At least that was what I thought till wife wrecked it three times. Traded it for a eighty two eagle woody wagon. So ended up with a four door anyway.

It has my favorite grill. If I ever found one, my Eagle would get a facelift!
