My '82 didn't come with one... How hard are they to come by?

Has anyone else done this? Is the install pretty straight forward?

My '81 didn't come with a passenger side mirror and it drove me nuts. Just measure (double, triple) to get it in the right spot. Helps if you have a parts car or take your driver side mirror off to get measurements and get the holes precise.
I just took the mirror from my parts car (mirror, gasket and brace), measured off of the parts car and made a template.
