Got the last parts I'll need to finish the brakes and get my eagle back on the road! Also went to my first swap meet last Saturday and actually found an owners manual for my year eagle!  Also started my collection of car emblems. I'm glad that it's looking like my eagle could be fully road worthy this weekend. I just wish I didn't get screwed on a grill, cargo cover, and a set of sport rims for my car.  :banghead:

Treated myself to this AMC Spirit grill with emblem on my birthday. Can't wait to see how it looks on my eagle.

I was wondering what year Spirit it came off of. Had no idea it was off a GT. Thanks!  :)

Update: Finished working on the brakes and installed the new door bushings for the drivers door. Battery was dead and charger isn't working right now so I couldn't start or test it.

Thanks! Me and my dad are really trying to make some headway on the eagle. He wants to take his 1957 Chevy out so he can work on it and my car is in the way.

After sitting in my driveway since January 27th, I drove my eagle for the first time since then. There are still some kinks to be worked out, but it was a great feeling to be able to finally drive this awesome car!

Started to replace my leaky plastic rocker arm cover with a metal one I bought a while ago, but the house has seemed to become a bigger project than my eagle for my dad and with missing a whole week of school due to the storm and with no extensions to the end of the year, I myself have been really bogged down with homework, so I don't know when my eagle will finally be finished. Someday....

Just added to my spare parts stockpile with a lot of miscellaneous parts off a 1979 AMC Spirit AMX! The holy grail of the lot has to be a hood release cabe with an intact knob! Also included a good used Spirit rear hatch weather seal which I have no need for and will be offering here since I don't have a Spirit. (yet ;) ) On top of this I also got a set of front fender flares with trim, a bunch of Eagle/Concord emblems, and a drivers side lower door hinge from members on here. Will post pictures when finals are over with.

In other news while attempting to install the aluminum rocker arm cover we damaged the gasket and will have to get a new one.  :banghead:
