An interesting article.....
« on: March 19, 2012, 06:27:59 PM »
While perusing some old Car & Driver mags I have, I came across an article written by none other than Roy Lunn.  It's from the June, 1984 issue & details AMC's efforts in putting togther a team to run the Paris-Dakar rally.  It's a great story, running 9 pages and goes in-depth into the "unoffical" team that ran 2 XJ Cherokees....I don't have any way to scan it online (sorry), but maybe someone here has this issue & the means to post it??  It isn't an Eagle story, but being that the creator of the Eagle wrote it, I thought it would be fitting here.....

It would be an interesting read.  The XJ and Eagle are close relations.
