I'll be having some "frame" reconstruction done soon, and I need to  remove the carpet because of the welding.  How is the rear seat removed?  I tried the conventional 'push it rearward and lift the front edge from the retainers'  Perhaps I didn't try hard enough but that didn't  do the trick.  Suggestions?  I can give it a good cleaning while it's out, too. :amc:

Thanks, all.  Got the seat bottom out then the fronts and the carpet out.  It's in pretty good condition, just soiled.  I'll try to clean it outside if it EVER STOPS SNOWING!  Friday was 66 degrees, yesterday was snow with 60 MPH winds and 20 degrees overnight.   :amc:
