Welcome back to Colorado!  Glad you had a good trip.

I've put together a little itinerary for today's mini-meet:

2:00 Meet at Sonic, have root beer floats

2:15 Replace Eaglebeek's exhaust system

2:30  Replace Shanebo's front suspension and steering components to try to eliminate the vibration

2:45  Return Strike Eagle's car to stock, decide we liked the modified version better, and make it like it was

3:00  New carpet in my car

3:15  Preventative maintenance on Eaglefreek's car since he made the long trip, and swap out his front bumper with winch and rear bumper with tire carrier and hope he doesn't notice

3:30  Help Nashkid (Terry) pick up 5 more Eagles (but not ours) for the Rambler Ranch

3:45  Drive down to Pueblo and say Hey! to Maddog

4:00 Stop by Gronk's place and see his stockpile of Eagles (even if he isn't there)

4:15 Call it a day

I'm open to suggestions if anybody thinks we can squeeze some more in, let me know

Yeah, my exhaust is almost embarrasing  :hiding: The Eagle needed an emissions test before I could renew the registration this year...don't get me started on why I needed the test :banghead:...and the original exhaust wasn't going to pass. I took everything out except the catalytic converter and jury-rigged a system that would pass emissions. Long story shortened...it passed emissions and I was driving it home from work in a heavy and slushy snowstorm. The jury-rigged exhaust broke off just behind the cat :o

I've cobbed it together again. It will be at the mini-meet. See y'all there ;D :eagle:

Well, the Mini-Meet was a success, even though we only got one thing done on the list (getting a root beer float).  We had five Eagle Nesters turn out:  Eaglefreek, Strike Eagle, Eaglebeek, Shanebo, and myself.  In addition there was a Spirit (w/ a 360 engine), an AMX, a full size jeep, and a J-10 pickup.  We admired the great Eagles and AMCs, BS'ed, and generally had a great time.  It was good to take some time and see the mods that Strike Eagle had done to his SX/4, and Eaglefreek had done to his wagon.  Eaglebeek"s wagon is to be admired as a daily driver that continues to meet all challenges.  And Shanebo has a diamond in the rough with the SX/4 he picked up.  Thanks to everybody that turned out, it was a good time, we'll have to do it again when its a little less windy.  Here are the photos, and an egg for everyone that made it on short notice, with an extra egg to Eaglefreek for suggesting the Mini-Meet.

Five Eagles (plus a Spirit and a Jeep and an AMX) all in a row

I'm glad we had a decent turn out. I thought meeting at 2 would be after the lunch time rush. Boy was I wrong. That place was busy the whole time we were there. It was fun watching the people drive by and look at all the cars. One lady in the drive thru in a minivan asked if it was a club. She said her husband has an Eagle, with a big grin on her face. It seems like I have to drive several hundred, if not more than a thousand miles to hang with some Eagles.

the reason it was so busy is because sonic has happy hour from 2 to 5 everyday.
