Last Saturday I went to the Pull and Save to get some interior pieces for my 1980 Capri Turbo...

When I walked out into the lot..This was the first thing I saw.
I made a "B" line to it.
97000 miles, oxidized but not a dent or rust to be found anywhere on the car.
The interior is nearly mint.  No sun fading and two slight tears.
I must have been stored in a garage for most of its life.

The selling price was $700.00.

Today I took my brother with me to show him the car.  He's the worlds best negotiator.  He is not an Eagle fan, he's into Javelins,  specifically 1972 Javelins. He got a little excited when he saw the sport mirrors.

After he saw it and we talked for a while, I decided to get it.  (I knew I was going to buy it...but I wanted his opinion)

$600.00 and a signature on the bill of sale and I am now the proud owner of an AMC.

It needs a carburetor and an air filter and it'll be on the road again!

There are Eagles lovers and there are the uneducated and the best we can do
with them is try to EDUCATED them on the virtues of the BEUTEFULL cars that we drive   ...................don
