1985 Eagle wagon
« on: October 05, 2011, 10:47:10 PM »
Got the wagon and have been driving it everyday sense. Been a get car so far. Best part, everything is working. I'm going to do a lift to it this weekend if all goes well. Got my new tires and the wheels today. The wheels were free, so I figured why not use them. Can't wait to see them on the car to see if the colors will work together.

By the looks of it judging by the dear drop headlight and fenders it looks to be a 1999-2003 indian chief....there was a company who bought the rights to the indian name and and produced "Indians" from 99-03 I believe. They had s and s motors and styling cues similar to the origional indians. I could be wrong though...they do sell inian style fender kits for a lot of different american and japanese cruisers.

I pass through many times with my Eagles on the way to Fessenden and Bismarck! I'll honk when I go by 25th Street / University.  8)

Nope, your right they did do a re-manufacture, and just my opinion , ( and slightly skewed by my tastes) but they just aren't the same. Kinda like the difference between a Suzuki SX/4 and the real deal !! lol .

hmmm on a closer look, I do see the fender you are looking at, and the head on it, didn't spot that before. Good eye Shanebo. I will have to see if I can withstand the photobucket stress and post one, or send it to you by email.
I have some from  29 - 48 in the shop right now.

Thanks everyone. The bike on the trailer is a 2011 Indian Blackhawk. I am the service manager for Indian Triumph of Fargo. http://www.indiantriumphfargo.com/. Indian motorcycle has been in business sense 2009 again and is going stronger then ever. Just recently Polaris Industries purchased Indian motorcycles and this is only making the Indian name stronger and bigger then ever before.  Check out there main site - http://www.indianmotorcycle.com/

I didnt know that they had started up buisness again....I love indians....such a timeless bike....I wish AMC would make a come back like that but I wont hold my breath on that one.

I checked out that sight....man those things are hot!! its kinda making me want to trade off my old 150,000 mile Road King! Are those running a similar motor to the victorys?
