I don't want to ruin the surprise, but I've got an idea in the works that requires some wood grain vinyl...do you know what would be a close match the pattern on my Eagle? I'd rather not pay a whole lot and I don't need much either. Like 2'x4' at the most! I'm not like vinyling the whole car or anything! :)

What do you think...close enough match? It's not actually going to be anywhere near the woodgrain on the sides, but I still want it to be pretty close.

Yeah, that looks good. A nice match for the original woodgrain. I think I guessed what you might do. If your only doing a 2x4 strip, then maybe you are going to go over the THULE wording on the front of your roof rack?

Good guess and also something maybe worth vinyling,, buy no! You can keep guessing if you want...it might not be something you'd think would ever be vinyled, but it's subtle and I think will look pretty neat.

Pulled over less than 1 mile from my exit because the hi-po noticed I was a little more than a month behind on getting my plates renewed! Jerk!

Who's the jerk? You for not getting your registration renewed on time or the officer for ding his job?  ;D

Racks look good.

Of course the officer. Don't be silly. I realized he probably gave me a ticket because about a year ago in my other car when I was trying to sell it I went 7 months without renewing my plates...finally got pulled over. This time I was sincerely clueless to my plates being expired! :( I took care of it today and called the number he said and they told me they don't handle claims like trying to make the payment less or completely removing it...I'll have to plead not guilty and try to see what happens in court...but now thinking back at my previous offense there is probably no way I would win. UHG...So the roof rack just turned into an 167 dollar purchase for a crappy used rack! :)

On the windshield? No! :)

I just can't tell you! :) If you guess it I'll let you know if you are right. Until then...

Roof rack rails?

It has nothing to do with the rack! But it might be cool to do the windscreen like you mentioned earlier...I'm not a fan of the huge THULE lettering on it...it's much bigger than I've seen on other Thule windscreens.

I guess you're not going to cover the license plate with the vinyl...are you?  ;D
Maybe that way they couldn't tell it was expired, huh.

...P.S. For what I'm wanting to do I need approximately 2'8"x1'3" of woodgrain vinyl.

I figure if I get a 4ft x 2ft roll I could maybe do the windscreen too!

Already bought some stuff last night from eBay. 4'x2.5' total cost with shipping was like 32 bucks.
