Here are it's specs:

TF727 transmission
NV242 Transfer Case with Terra 4:1 Low Range
Dana 30 front, Dana 44 rear, 3.55 gears, Detroit Tru Trac front and rear.
Warn 9k lb. winch.
Lots of other mods.

I can attest to the quality of StrikeEagle's mods, having seen it with my own eyes. His SX4 is a thing of beauty :eaglebig:
1984 Eagle Wagon, 258, auto, 2.73 gears, daily driver
1983 Eagle Limited Wagon, parts; sold
2000 Jeep Cherokee, 4.0, auto
2007 Hyundai Accent, radical downsize from minivan, wife's car and she loves it!

"The society which scorns excellence in plumbing as a humble activity and tolerates shoddiness in philosophy because it is an exalted activity will have neither good plumbing nor good philosophy: neither its pipes nor its theories will hold water."--John W. Gardner, in "Excellence: Can We Be Equal and Excellent Too?" (1961)

Air-conditioning is so cool!

Would it be possible to get a list of parts he has added to this Eagle? I would love to try and re-create some of this on my SX/4. I'll be starting the tear-down on mine at the end of the month.

Specifically, I'd like to know what the front and rear bumpers are from. Maybe some pics of the underside and suspension components.

I'll have to ask him. Paul is quite clever when it comes to incorporating parts from other vehicles. His Eagle has Dodge Dynasty headlights and Mustang tail lights. His bumpers are from other vehicles also. The front axle uses coil springs and stock XJ control arms and mounts. He also has custom made skid plates.

Looks pretty clean.
There is a few mods on that I would have skipped myself though.
I can't stand clear style tail lights light that, on any vehicle.

id like more info on the tail lights. wanting to figure out something for CLEAR headlights with replaceable bulbs... that would be sweet.
I can't give you much info on the tail lights. I do know they don't fit perfect and a filler panel needs to be fabbed. Here's some info on some headlights I just installed. http://forums.amceaglenest.com/index.php?topic=36467.msg293246#msg293246

There are quite a few things that I wouldn't have done either, but if everyone liked what I liked it be a boring world. I also dislike clear tail lights.

That has got to be one of the COOLEST looking SX/4s I've seen on here yet, in one of the most scenic, amazing places I would love to take my Eagle to one day! That would be sweet if he could document some of his mods on here, a few of those upgrades are things a lot of us could use as our Eagles get older (at least for those no longer "all original" vehicles).
