Got the Eagle home last night, had it towed down from Oshawa. Put in a new battery, some gas & away it went.
I took the drivers door panel off, to see the problem with it. Usual deal, needs a replacement outer door handle, no Biggie. Started out this am to take it over to local shop for necessary check for safety etc. i had arranged to leave there so they could look at it on Mon. Long story short, it was 1-800 CAA for a tow. Started to develop drive line slippage & let me down.
I will wait until Monday & see what the issue is. Suspect something in Transfer Case. Anyone else run into similar deal? It's an 84 Model year.

You may be right on.  I had slippage in mine, transfer case had to be rebuilt.

How did you tow it? The drive shafts need to be removed for towing.
