I got rid of my ac with another altenator. I customized brackets for it.

Its used for an on board stick welder. So if that is possible. Make a bracket and move your alt up.

Wouldn't have a picture of those brackets would you?

Also interested in your stick welder set-up.

Welds look bad I know. But it still holds it. Anyway just what I did to mount this can be used to delete your ac.

Thanks.   My alt. has a one-belt pulley.  Is the one on the bottom the orig?  Which one is the stick welder?

How do you hook-up the welder?  Does it work well?

Top one welds bottom original. You get different voltage at different rpm but the amperage is constant to the alt. So if higher or lower amp is needed you swap the alt accordingly. Works good I alsocarry an electric fan to flow air through the radiator. I like it for a portable stick.

My hook up is a lage gauge jumper cable positive to the alt output ground is ground and to turn it on and off I just hook the alt exciter up to full 12v. No regulator.

Thanks for that.  Very innovative.  I like it a lot.
