Well I started putting my front end back together and I came up with a different way to use the spring compressor that I rented from the parts store.


As you can see in the first picture the bolt is not long enough for the hooks to reach all the way to the bottom of the spring. I was able to get both springs in using this method, but the driverside was a lot harder to get in due to it's extra length, but I think if the bolt had been longer it would have been easier as I had to fight the spring a bit to get it in the perch as I didn't want to over compress the spring.

I finally got around to getting the rear brake line replaced and I think the one that was on there was the original from 1980. I also found this where the battery tray goes.

I made a fan shroud for the electric fans I'm putting on Eagle Eyes and I don't think it turned out too bad.

Looks good. Why'd you decide to ditch the clutch fan?

I'm doing away with the clutch fan because it puts less strain on the engine. Plus it helps free up horsepower and get's better fuel economy.
