SPORT edition rear shock brackets ;-)
« on: October 23, 2021, 08:01:34 PM »
I may be losing my mind now LOL. I'm replacing the rear shocks and I sandblasted and painted my rear shock brackets fire engine red. SPORTY ha ha.

Literally you can't even see these unless you're laying under the car. I was going to paint them gloss black but I went to get the paint and noticed I have 3 cans of red paint that I'll never use, so I figured why not make them sporty since no one will ever see them anyway... at least I've slowed down the rust on them, which was my primary goal!

Hopefully I'll have it ready for winter in the next 1-2 weeks because I'm going to quickly run out of time. I have a long to-do list so I'm prioritizing...

Kinda like wearing bright red underwear; you know, but nobody else does.......

I like it too - I hate letting good paint go bad; so use it!!

Fixed! The car *feels* faster now LOL  ;D

I wish the shocks were a different color and stood out, but oh well...
