Hi All,

Just joined this forum.  I've been collecting cars for most of my adult life, my current fleet being a bunch of 80's/early 90's Subaru, including 2 Brat pickup trucks.

I recently purchased a 1981 SX4 from out west, which is being shipped to me as I write this.  Its a red/black sport package with the 258 and SR4 transmission.  Runs and drives, super clean body with no rust, and a mint interior.  Im sure I will be posting more once I get it but for now I have been reading the wealth of info on this site.

I've attached some pictures of it being picked up.  Im sure I will have alot of questions.  Step 1 will be installing a new aluminum valve cover.

Thanks.  Here are some pics of the Brats. The blue one is an '85 and has the rear jump seats.  The tan one is an '86 which didnt have jump seats from the factory.  Both are 4 speed manual with dual range 4wd, T-tops.   Tan one is mint, all original with 80k miles.  The blue one has almost 200k miles and have been restored somewhat.  The decal set on the blue one is repro of the 1980's Tamiya radio control Subaru Brat.
