Auto to manual?
« on: March 13, 2019, 01:38:54 PM »
How difficult is it to take the TF998 out of an 83 SX/4 and add a manual? What cutting would be needed to hook up the clutch and such? Not really planning on it, but more or less just to hear the pro's and con's.

What transmission. When i did mine it was a bolt in. But i grabbed all parts from a junkyard eagle. I however didn't realize the crossmember was different. So i had a long seach to get one. The yard scrapped that member, and car before i realized i needed it.

The trans mount is also different barely. 2 extra studs is the only difference.
