4.0 head and efi from a donor XJ. Any help?
« on: September 11, 2018, 12:02:54 AM »
:banghead: I’ve gone and bitten the build bullet. I’m using parts from a 1994 xj and it sounds like I’ve got all the parts needed minus a few odd and ends. I can’t find a a compiled thread for all of this at once. I’m stumped on the clumsy hookup and the trans bell housing sensor. Sounds like I’ll have to use the 4.0 transmission to avoid drilling for it. If I have to swap a trans I’d like it to be an aw4 since the efi and computer will be there for shifting. But fab work gets pricey at the shop.
