Auburn ected locker
« on: November 25, 2016, 02:12:59 PM »
Will a auburn ected fit in a stock rear eagle dif?  It says it fits all amc 20 models but only specifically refers to jeeps. I notice most guys do an axle swap but I was thinking of sticking with stock for now (unless I'm missing something). I have an 84' 5 speed.

hi, no, that will not fit a stock Eagle axle. Eagles have the AMC 15, axle, aka Dana 35 rear, Dana 30 front. good luck, gz

Just to follow up what about the front? Is it a Dana 30? Is there a selectable locker that fits?

I believe it is a 30, but you would not want a locker in the front only, and not the back. The other way around is okay.
