Stopping in to say Hi
« on: October 30, 2015, 08:58:50 AM »
Just thought I should stop by and say Howdy! I have not been on in a long time. I am doing well, got my rear into gear and have been very active and dropping weight like crazy. Went from 204 to 160. I feel pretty :censored: good! I built a tiny camper last spring and have been using it often. Last time I looked at my summer journal I went camping 14 weekends so far.  I have been spending the summer cutting firewood, camping, and a bit of wheeling. I did make it to Moab again this year with some buddies on our dirtbikes. That was a good time. Planning on going next year to the 50th anniversary Easter Jeep Safari. Probably the Black car. It always leaves jaws dropped.

Hope everyone is well and enjoying their Eagles!
Mick

Awesome, good to hear from you..I was wondering where you've been and if you still had an Eagle. Congrats on the weight loss. I need to drop pounds, myself. Still working in the coal mines?

Thanks for remembering the coal mine thing. Nah, after a year of an 85mi one way commute and a crummy rotating 12hr shift I gave it up. Made some great friends, but the drive was killing, and :censored: sure would have eventually.  Still have an Eagle? As my daughter would say condescendingly "Ah....Yeah?" LOL Drove the Black car today and barked every second gear shift.  May be the reason that car is on it's 3 tranny  ;) The .060", Comp Cam, 4.0 head, Header, 3.55 gears and fuel injection have nothing to do with it of course.

How have you been? You want to lose weight? I found it fairly easy to do. Drink water. Lots of water. Keep your calorie intake down to around 12-1500 and drink water. Did I mention that? I usually drink around 2gal a day. Be active, park in the FARTHEST parking spot and get your hoof on! It's things like that, they work.

Any meets coming up next year?

Unfortunately, it's been very slow around here. Not much activity. The Rambler Ranch Eagle Motel meet should happen next year.

Great to hear from you and glad you're doing well!  Don't be a stranger, we could use some more yakking around the campfire here!

I've been a little busy this summer myself. Trying to make my cabin livable because the trailer park is going to close eventually (they're looking for a buyer)

Hello, Mick...from here along the Front Range of Colorado!
As my daughter would say condescendingly "Ah....Yeah?" LOL.
Yup...our granddaughter went through that phase before she finally realized Grandma and Grandpa didn't arrive on the Mayflower :P

And that is one fine Eagle you have there! :eagle:
