Putting and factory tach custer in my non tach car

Can I take the factory  tachometer out of custer and put it will my clock is? And how will the wiring work out , I have a 84 limited with 81, 000 miles, would like a tachometer. Thanks

You can replace the clock with a factory tach without much trouble.  However, make sure the tach is working before you go through all the effort, as most factory tachs have long since stopped working.

I offer Ford tachs that fit into the factory spot, and look original.  Here is a link to the thread with pictures. Let me know if you're interested in one.  Thanks.

Yeah the seller says it works, but what you have done looks pretty good too, I will let you know, if it gets too expensive I'll definitely look at your option, thanks

Sounds good.  It is relatively easy to test the tach before installing it, let me know if you need any help on the wiring.
