Visit from Eaglefreek today!
« on: June 28, 2015, 12:28:10 AM »
Rick (Eaglefreek) visited me today while on a road trip for the company he works for.  He is headed for the Los Angeles area (to be there on Monday), and stopped for the night in Hesperia CA.  He drove the company truck (Ford F700) from Alabama.  The truck is specially equipped, and is needed for the job.  I gave him a tour of my car collection (sorry, mostly Mercedes-Benz Diesel cars, but ONE Eagle!).  We then went out for Mexican food.  It is always nice to meet people (I have actually met Rick before) when they go on road trips.

It was good seeing you again, Rich. Your player piano collection is amazing and watching one at work with all it's moving parts, is fascinating. The drive has been "fun". The truck tops out at 60mph at 3800rpm and with no A/C or radio, makes it even more of a wonderful ride.  ::)
