Eagle and a Hornet AMX
« on: March 30, 2014, 02:19:05 PM »
Noticed a white wagon in Chaska Mn last year and drove by a couple weeks ago to see if its still there and it is. I'll stop by and knock on the door to talk to the owner.
Just today I stopped by a local business that burned down and noticed a yellow AMX i think its a 78 but I didn't have the right shoes on to mush through the muck and get a closer look and of course this happened on the one time I left the house without my phone to take pics. You can bet I'll be stopping by there again to see what the plans are for it.

Please post pictures when you get a chance. It will be interesting to see whats going on with the white wagon and the Yellow AMX.
Thanks, have a good day. -Matt.
P.S. I love 78 AMX's deeply, and I started a thread with some pictures and information in the AMC Concord section.

I'm waiting for the photos of the AMX to upload to photobucket  I stopped and talked to the current owner or at least where it is stored. Yes its available for sale yes its affordable and yes I'm trying to find a way to make it fit in the driveway. Oh and by the way the odometer shows just short of 64000 miles

After looking into it a little bit I am pretty sure 77 is the only year for this model. I know Eagle Bob has one maybe he can enlighten me. Or anyone else.

I got a better look at it and the floors are gone as well as the seat belt anchors. With all the other projects I have going I can not devote the time required to get this one done, floors are available through Rock Auto. I can get anyone who is interested in it in touch with the current owner. The rest of the car is intact with the normal rust spots but needs the engine put back together to check for any further issues(plug wires hoses etc.)
